Kelly Moberg

Kelly Moberg is a creative at heart, growing up with a love for theater and performing that played a big role in where she is now. Once Kelly began her college career, she quickly found herself developing a passion for baking.

Searching for electives to round out her class schedule, Kelly signed up for a cake decorating class on a whim - it was love at first icing. Kelly channeled this newfound passion and quickly changed gears from Human Services, enrolling in the Bakery and Pastry Arts program at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. An externship at the Biltmore Estate allowed Kelly to bolster her resume even more, gathering hands-on experience with chocolate molding and sugar work.

Post graduation, Kelly worked her way through managerial roles in local grocery store bakeries, where she was first introduced to Rich Products! Working alongside Rich’s techs in her roles, she appreciated the care and energy that was put into teaching her and her co-workers. Soon after, she earned a position at Rich’s as a bakery tech.

As the Technical Counselor for In-Store Bakery and Deli at Rich’s, Kelly is constantly traveling to multiple grocery store locations throughout the Pittsburgh area each week. She provides hands-on assistance for the bakery division of these stores, playing an important role in the execution of training programs and implementation of innovative products. But the best part of her job? Seeing the smile on someone’s face as they master the coveted rose on a beautifully decorated cake after months of trying.
