Chef Aran Connolly is a Culinary Manager at Rich’s, with a passion for creating meaningful food experiences rooted in connection, creativity, and flavor. His culinary journey began in high school, where he discovered the energy of the kitchen and developed a deep appreciation for the role food plays in bringing people together. He went on to apprentice in French fine-dining restaurants, building a strong foundation in classical technique and discipline, and later earned his Associate of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts from the New England Culinary Institute. 

Throughout his career, Chef Aran has gained experience across a wide range of foodservice environments, including casual and fine dining restaurants, resorts, catering, business and industry, and assisted living. These diverse experiences have shaped his versatility and strengthened his ability to translate culinary creativity into practical, scalable solutions. 

Since joining Rich’s in 2016, he has partnered closely with sales teams and operators to develop menu solutions, lead product demonstrations, and support customer collaboration. His work focuses on helping customers turn insights into actionable ideas that drive efficiency, consistency, and growth. He is especially passionate about teaching menu ideation and product application, helping others bridge the gap between inspiration and execution. 

Chef Aran draws inspiration from global flavors, emerging trends, and the evolving foodservice landscape. At the heart of his work is a commitment to creating connection through food, helping operators bring compelling concepts to life. 

Outside the kitchen, he finds inspiration in music and art, which influence his approach to creativity and expression. Known for his curiosity, collaborative spirit, and sense of humor, he brings an approachable and thoughtful perspective to everything he does.
