From the tender age of 15, Tim Wiesner fell in love with the efficiencies and problem-solving skills necessary in the kitchen through working multiple positions in a variety of casual and fine dining restaurants.
Tim followed his passion for food by enrolling in the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Upon graduating with an associate’s degree in culinary arts, he worked as a Banquet Chef at the Five-Star, Five Diamond Broadmoor Hotel and Executive Chef at an independent restaurant in Colorado, where he found reward and excitement in a high profile, fast-paced environment.
Tim later shifted his focus to contract services, first as a Chef Manager with Aramark and later with multi-unit responsibility for the Southwest Region of Eurest Dining as a District Chef. Tim then pursued his interests in Research and Development, spending seven years as an Executive Development Chef with ConAgra Foods. While at ConAgra, he helped develop multiple consumer products and provided support for ConAgra Foodservice, Lamb Weston and Conagra Mills sales teams. In 2015, Tim brought his expansive skills and experience to Rich Products, where he’s proud to be part of a diverse culinary team with so many unique backgrounds and specialties.
Tim resides in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with his wife and three sons. In addition to his degree in culinary arts, Tim carries a degree in business management and most recently earned, a Pro Chef 1 Certification. When he is not cooking at Rich’s he enjoys cooking at home and spends most weekends attempting to perfect his BBQ or testing new cuisines and trends on family and friends.
