Name any city on the East Coast, and chances are Teresa has baked there, trained there – and possibly even lived there. Since leaving as a bakery manager from an Upstate New York grocery chain where she began her career while still in high school, Teresa has taken her baking bravery and talent on the go.
Constantly traveling for a bakery product company, leading trainings, product presentations and more, Teresa learned all of the ins and outs of the bakery – including the skills and many products involved. Her impressive product knowledge added sales to her repertoire, and eventually positioned her to be the first female Coordinator for Sales and Tech for the bakery product company.
Recruited by Rich’s in 2004 as a Bakery Technician, Teresa has brought her passion for baking creativity and innovation to the team, taking on everything from product ideation and cake decorating, to food shows and seminars like IDDBA (International Deli Dairy Bakery Association). Teresa spends plenty of time on the road baking, training and creating for Rich’s. As much as she loves the travel that comes with the job, Teresa enjoys the people she works with most, and the opportunity to watch them thrive and find pure joy in their craft.
