Ron Hinz

Ron entered the world of baking unexpectedly when recommended a baker training program at a local grocery chain in Iowa, where he was born and raised. It was in that supermarket that Ron found a hidden passion for baking.

After several years, Ron met a JW Allen associate, who offered him an opportunity with the company that he couldn’t pass up. In 1985, Ron became a Technical Counselor at JW Allen, later acquired by Rich’s in 2000. Ron attends food shows and trains associates on how to use Rich’s many bakery products, putting his experience in the grocery industry and skill set to work. While baking and shaping bread might be his forte, he is well versed in a plethora of bakery items, from bread dough to cookies, and he is excited to share his knowledge with those ready to learn.

Ron is proud to be a part of a family-owned company that treats him like family, while getting to do what he loves every day. He resides in Missouri, where you might just find him doctoring up Rich’s Cinn-sational Cinnamon Rolls with his own sweet spin for just about any family holiday gathering.
